Know its limits

Read the supplied instructions before scanning and investigate alerts carefully. Ordinary electronics can produce wireless signals, and some hidden devices may not be detected. Detection depends on the device, its operating state and the surroundings. This detector does not guarantee that a space is free of cameras or tracking devices, and it is not a GPS location service for finding lost belongings.
